I was very excited about this card, because it was included in Issue 7 of the Whimsy Stamps Inspiration Magazine! You can see my card featured on page 21 in the magazine HERE! And again, if you haven't been reading these FREE online Whimsy Magazines then you are missing out - they're full of fabulous inspiration, ideas and tutorials!

So anyway, I'm showing it on my blog today, as it fits perfectly with the Distressing theme!
This wonderful sentiment is from Raindrop Echo 'Summertime Sentiments' set, available from the wonderful Whimsy Stamps Store. The vintage papers are softened with a light sanding to give that distressed look, and the Distress Ink sponging adds to the aged feel.

This week was my beautiful niece Jaylah's 2nd birthday, so this Easel card is especially for her! I used the adorable "Little Bear Personalized Birthday Princess" image by StampArt Design by Kathryne. The lovely Kathy will add any name to your sweet little Bear to make it especially for your Princess. (There is of course a little boy version too!)
I used MME Lime Twist 'Life of the Party' papers for both the card and paper piecing.

Whimsy April Digi Release!

Hi Everyone!
It's the beginning of the month, so that means NEW Whimsy Digital Stamps ~ YAY!! All Whimsy Stamps digital images are 300dpi for high print quality.You can re-size, flip, or rotate to fit your own project which makes them super fun to play with and create! And all of the fabulous new images are available in the Whimsy Store right now!!

Your first stop on the Hop is always the Whimsy Inspirations Blog. You can find the complete list of participants there. The Grand Prize Winner of the hop will be chosen from comments left on the final stop...the lucky winner will receive 5 new digital stamps of their choice from Whimsy!
